Dr. Deanna Melton-Riddle’s introduction to Christianity began at age 5 when she attended church with her great-grandparents at Bethlehem Healing Temple under Bishop Charles E. Poole and Evangelist Mattie B. Poole. Though she strayed during adolescence and early adulthood, she returned in 2001 and fully surrendered to the Lord in 2004.
She served faithfully as Minister of Praise and Worship for many years and in 2017 was called into ministry at Global Ambassadors Ministries in Chicago, IL, alongside her husband, Pastor Phillip F. Riddle Sr., who is the Founder and Pastor.
Dr. Melton-Riddle holds a Doctorate in Health Administration from Central Michigan University, a Master’s in Human Services Administration from National Louis University, a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion and Education from Parker University, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Chicago State University.
Her healthcare career spans over 25 years in clinical and administrative roles. She also holds certifications as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, and Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach. She began teaching in Chicago Public Schools at Percy Julian High School, where she was Program Director of the Medical and Health Careers Academy. She has taught in higher education for over 16 years, specializing in curriculum development, teacher training, and consulting.
She has been married to Pastor Phillip F. Riddle Sr. for 18 years and has four sons, two daughters-in-love, and three grandchildren whom she affectionately calls her “G troop.”
